GENERAL CONDITIONS

Private sales

YKK Danmark A/S does not sell to individuals who are not registered for VAT.

Offers and prices

Invoicing is done according to the prices and conditions that are valid at the time where the order is placed.

Delivery

Delivery is made on the date stated on the order confirmation. Deliveries in Denmark are done by a carrier or by us. We reserve the right to send goods with payment on delivery or after prepayment.

Cancelation or change of order

Orders that have already been handed over to a delivery company can only be cancelled or changed with the delivery company’s accept. All costs related to the cancellation or change accrues to the buyer.

Return

Return of goods can only be accepted by preceding agreement. We do not take back goods that have been used, custom made or adjusted beyond the standard.

‍

Complaints

If there are visible damages, errors or deficiencies the buyer must contact us immediately after receiving the goods.

‍

Delivery costs

The delivery costs are paid for by the buyer unless other agreements have been made. Delivery is done under the buyer’s responsibility, also in the case of free delivery. For small orders a handling charge will be added, unless other agreements have been made.

Damage during transportation

If the delivery has a visible transportation damage this must be noted on the freight bill and recognized by the carrier with a signature. After this the buyer must call us and inform us of the transportation damage and the freight bill number and order number. After this we will contact the carrier and make sure that a replacement item will be sent if necessary.

Payment

Payment terms are stated on the invoice. Interest can be added in case of late payment.

Property rights

YKK Danmark A/S has full ownership of the goods sold until full payment has been made.

Warranty

We give 2 years warranty in accordance to the Danish Sale of Goods Act.

‍

Force majeure

YKK Danmark A/S is not reliable to the buyer if the following occurs: war and mobilization, rebellion and riots, terror, natural disasters, lockouts, shortage of goods, missing or late deliveries from subcontractors, fire, missing transportation options, currency restrictions, import and export restrictions, death, disease or resignation of key personnel, computer viruses or other conditions that YKK Danmark A/S does not have direct control over. In these cases, YKK Danmark A/S can postpone delivery until the obstacle has ceased. Alternatively, YKK Danmark A/S can cancel the delivery completely or partly without liability.

Dispute

Any dispute or disagreement that cannot be settled through conciliation will be decided according to Danish law.
